Modern Electrical Energy Systems LAB (MEES-LAB)

 

      Conventional electricity networks are experiencing a major transition from passive distribution networks with unidirectional electricity transportation to active bidirectional distribution networks with distributed generation, smart customer loads, electric vehicle charging, distributed storage systems, and so on all expected to work together within the future smart grid framework.

 

     For actually implementing a sustainable, accessible, reliable and economic energy system, we strive to devise a bold programme of research and development in different areas of modern electrical energy systems. To this aim, what falls within the purview of our research activity is as follows;

  • Electromagnetic transients in power systems
  • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
